Lecher antenna

I'd like to find out if any of you are familiar with the Lecher antenna. I know it from descriptions and pictures, but I've never had a chance to play with it. Does it behave like a dowsing rod or is it a completely different experience?

Chris, here is a great site to learn much about the Lecher Antenna or as it is less known, the Lecher Wire. It took me an act of Congress to find it again, but there's info on building your own, using it, & charts & scales for different uses. Very informational & it is in English & French. Hope this helps... btw - I haven't built my own, but I would certainly do it, given the time...Blessings, NightLighter
